Photo Funk
I've been in a funk lately, and I haven't really shot anything new in the past couple weeks. I should've uploaded these photos a long time ago, too! Here's a link to the photos from Denise's visit to Sue's place in London:
http://www.flickr.com/photos/ravenswift/sets/72157600471016631/It was awesome to party with Denise; I haven't seen her since last September when I went to Vancouver. And it was awesome of Sue to let us all stay at her house in London. It was perfect!
MMMMmmmmm, Tastes Like Campfire
I'm posting this mostly as a reminder to myself, but I thought I'd share in the process!
Campfire Recipe - Fired Orange Blueberry CakesCut several oranges in half and scoop out the pulp and seeds. Use the orange pulp for a fruit salad. Mix a package of store bought cake mix, any brand will do. Fill one half of the orange skin with the cake mix and wild blueberries.
Put the other half of the orange skin on top and wrap the whole thing in aluminum foil. Place in the hot embers of a campfire and wait half an hour to forty-five minutes.
Carefully remove the foil packages from the fire and unwrap. Let the oranges cool a bit before peeling. Open to behold and enjoy a beautiful orange blueberry cake dessert.

Google maps have updated their satellite imagery... Toronto included. The images are so much better than they used to be. And if you hit "link to this page" and change "Z19" near the end of the web address to "z20", you can make it zoom even closer. Ahhh! It's so cool! Next, we'll be getting the
Street View function... that shit is crazy, man.

Madness, I Say!
Take a look at this:
http://www.cnn.com/2007/US/05/28/book.burning.ap/index.htmlA book store owner in Missouri is burning his unwanted books!
Tom Wayne, with the eloquence of an American book store owner, explains himself:
"After slogging through the tens of thousands of books we've slogged through and to accumulate that many and to have people turn you away when you take them somewhere, it's just kind of a knee-jerk reaction," he said. "And it's a good excuse for fun."Yep. That's what I do for fun... burn some books. I find it extremely hard to believe he couldn't find anywhere to donate these books. What a waste. Not to mention the smoke being released into the atmosphere probably isn't good for the neighbours.
