Literary Influence...

I don't ever recall reading a book before that made me feel sick to my stomach, or as angry, anxious and frustrated as Anne Marie MacDonald's The Way the Crow Flies. I'm not finished it yet, so this isn't a review, but I just have to say... holy frick, this is a good book.

It makes me want to run away screaming, horrified that there are characters like those in the book out there in the real world.

But I can't stop reading it.
